Synopsis

This presentation introduces the Agilent Resolve Handheld Raman Spectrometer system. The Agilent Resolve is the world’s first miniaturized Raman system that uses Agilent’s proprietary Spatially Offset Raman Spectroscopy (SORS) technology to identify unknown substances. Jointly developed with both the US and UK governments, the Agilent Resolve system is capable of rapidly detecting hazardous materials, chemical warfare agents, narcotics, and explosive materials in a wide range of sealed nonmetallic containers. Identification is facilitated by an on-board library of approximately 12,500 substances with CAS numbers listed. Key features and benefits of the Agilent Resolve system are highlighted in this presentation in an application-centric approach.
